The tinkling bell followed by his name being called notified Garrick, in the back room, that somebody had entered the shop. Leaving his work aside, he came into the front area and saw the boy who he assumed was Dennis Creevey standing with his back turned to him, looking out the window. Garrick gave Dennis a few silent moments to continue looking before interrupting him with a bright, "Good afternoon, Master Creevey. You're punctual. That's a very good sign. Would you like to take a seat, please?"
He motioned with his hand to indicate a chair that was pulled up beside the counter.
