Gideon enjoyed riling Amelia up. For one, it was often pretty easily done. For another, she made cute faces when he did it. He never tried to actually make her upset and he didn't think he ever had. He was always able to draw some humor out of her innocent looks, mostly because they were extremely unconvincing. Amelia's innocent looks were as convincing as anything out of a Death Eater's mouth. Well, slightly moreso. He could never really compare Amelia with those assholes. Ever.
Public displays of affection were often fun. Gideon wasn't ashamed of them. He'd always refrained from PDA around Molly, but not Fabian. Now, he had a whole ton of new family to refrain from PDA around. Well, maybe not his nephews. They could handle it. Molly and his nieces? He'd still not do anything like that around them. They didn't need to see it, just like he didn't want to see Molly making out with Arthur every day. Fortunately for both of them, it was dark and the park was pretty much empty.
Gideon's arms slid around Amelia's waist, pulling her body against his. He was crouched down slightly to lessen the rather significant height difference between them; it was no good if her neck started hurting because she was tipping it too far back. After a bit, he pulled his head back slightly without releasing her from his grip. "How about we go home?"
