"That's what sisters are supposed to be for," she told him, looking into the depths of her glass, seeing a time and place that wasn't here and now. She tore her eyes and mind away from that place and smiled at Salazar. "I don't get you people who like to fly or throw yourselves off of tall things. Being high is enough." She said this fondly. She knew it was often hard for certain people to be in this place. People like Salazar who were so used to adventure. Her smile took on a more genuine quality. "Can your horse bear both of us?"
"A nerd," she said after finishing her own drink in preparation to leave, "is someone who becomes excited over things like books and television series and has a slight emotional attachment to said things." She grinned cheekily and stood. "Let me put on shoes and we can go."
