Remus couldn't help grinning like a little boy with a secret when he heard his wife's footsteps at their door. Lest anyone forget, they were still newlyweds despite all the crappy events that transpired over the last months. Even in his time, their marriage was still pretty new. He never thought he'd marry, especially not someone as talented and beautiful as Tonks, so each day was a gift. He was just glad for a moment to slow down and celebrate their marriage. He was worried about that old mark in the journal, but he did his part in warning the village and now watches were being created. He was slowly learning he couldn't be everything to everyone all the time.
"What? If I left it to you, we'd starve," he teased as he walked over to her. His smile widened as he leaned over to sneak a kiss.
