Knowing that Fleur knew as little about the subject of Classical Music as he did made Percy feel a bit more at ease. "Your sister Gabrielle? The last time I remember seeing her was... oh... years ago." Of course, the very first time he'd seen her was as the Triwizard Tournament's Second Task, as one of the prisoners held captive by the merpeople under the Lake. He couldn't remember whether or not she had been in the Village, so he decided not to bring her up, unless it caused a bad reaction for Fleur.
In regards to her compromises with Bill, Percy nodded, understandingly, and blurted out, "It sounds just like Oliver and myself." Then he realized what that sounded like, then quickly added, "It's nothing like that. We're simply good friends." Though Percy wished it could be more, Oli had not reciprocated when he shared his feelings, and so it was best to let it be. Friends they would remain.
Instead, he would talk about his wife. "Audrey and I would frequently attend different performances. We held season tickets to the Royal Ballet and Opera Houses, although truth be told, opera is not my favorite. Oh, but to see a Shakespeare play now," he said, dreamily. "I don't think we have the talent here to pull off a performance here, although I once saw a one-man interpretation of MacBeth that was disturbingly good.
"They did Rocky Horror here? Hrmph. Why am I not surprised. I was taken to one of those shows before, by a few of my coworkers. Naturally, they didn't tell me beforehand what it was about. I had a big, red 'V' drawn on my forehead and everything."
