"They're border collies," Oli said. He knew that without any help. "They're Scottish," he added, as if that was more important information than how much attention they needed or how old they would get or how big. "They're bloody adorable," Oli said under his breath, almost too quiet for Percy to hear. "If we get a puppy, I want one of these," he told Percy, his tone showing that he wasn't going to be swayed in his decision.
The little puppies seemed excited at the attention they were getting and Oli did his best to pet all of them at once.
"Please, Perce?" Oli said, looking at Percy over his shoulder, his hand resting on the head of one of the puppies.
