"A what?" Oliver laughed softly. His own knowledge of dog breeds only extended far enough to know the few names of breeds he had actually met. Many families in the village he came from had dogs, so Oli could list a few, if he had to. "I don't want a tiny dog, but not something huge, either." He looked at the puppies again and reached out to pet one of the little shepherds in a cage nearby. He knew shepherds were rather big dogs, although they were tiny and adorable as puppies.
While Percy and Autumn talked about owls Oli moved further into the shop and crouched down in front of a cage with a litter of border collie puppies. "P!" he called out laughing when the lot of them came to sniff his hand as he tried to pet one of them.
