Now, to hear Oliver say he might want to learn how to play the piano took Percy by surprise. What with how obsessed Oli was about Quidditch, Percy could've sworn that Oli wouldn't have had room in his brain for anything else. "Oh!" Percy expressed his surprise. "Alright. Well. I can most certainly teach you. I actually taught myself. You may find you have some musical talent." He wanted to encourage Oli to follow through on this, because it would be nice to have music as a shared interest.
"Take your time," Percy told Oli, and by the time his friend reached the top of the stairs, Percy remembered something and added, "We're going to have to decide whose bedroom is whose."
While Oliver was showering, Percy finished his coffee and then took both empty cups back into the kitchen to wash. As he stood at the sink, rinsing them out, he hummed a pleasant tune to himself, thinking back on the events of the party. Just then, it hit him. Like a flash, he remembered coming home from the party with Oliver and after few teasing words, giving Oli a deep kiss on the mouth. Percy froze in his spot, his jaw slackened. "Oh, Merlin." he groaned. "What have I done?"
Percy tried not to panic, though his heart was already beating fast. Oliver hadn't mentioned anything yet... he had more to drink... maybe Oli didn't remember it! Percy decided not to say anything about it, and hope for the best.
