"I'm glad you're happy." Percy stopped fussing and returned his attention to his mug of coffee. "Have you been notified what occupation you'll have here? I see our house came with a replica of the piano I bought before, but was destroyed in the earthquake." Percy nodded his head in the direction where, against the wall, stood an upright piano. "Which probably means I'm still the village Lounge Singer, and which also means you'll be hearing me sing a lot more."
Percy gave Oliver a smirk, remembering an playful argument they had last night: Percy had participated in karaoke and told Oliver, "See, now you've heard me sing!" but Oli had protested that because Percy had been drunk, it didn't count. "I'm sure you'll get tired of listening to me, soon enough.
"I'd also like to take a shower," Percy said - for him, this was not even entertained as an option - he was going to bathe no matter what. A dirty thought crossed his mind, about showering together, but their relationship was not like that. Besides, both of them were still suffering from hangovers of various intensities. Even so, it was a pleasing thought, that made Percy smile to himself. "Would you like to go first?"
