Oliver nodded slowly. "Okay, but you have to admit... I'm allowed to be shocked. This is my kid sister we are talking about. She's tiny!" Oli insisted, smiling warmly at Percy. He tried to be careful around Percy, but he wasn't about to treat Percy as if he couldn't handle the mentioning of pranks.
While Percy talked Oliver watched him, a smile growing on his face. "He sounds nice?" It wasn't all that much to go on, but Percy was right. Kenzie was as crazy about Quidditch as Oli was and at her age Oli had still believed he could never like someone who didn't like Quidditch. growing up had changed that, but for Kenzie to like someone who didn't play or like Quidditch, it seemed like a big deal. "If you say I was okay with him..." Oliver laughed softly. "That's weird, but nice," he said after a moment.
"That's really all I missed?" He paused. "Okay, you becoming a dad is kind of a big thing. I hope you didn't want me to bed god father or something. I'm not up for that kind of responsibility," he joked. It was interesting to hear about the future and Oli thought it was important that he caught up with Percy a little, to know what his best friend had been up to in the two years that Oli was missing. Had missed? Would miss?
