Percy's mouth opened but hesitated to speak, gasping a little at Oliver's request. This would be the perfect time to tell him about their future they shared together, but he hesitated. Nervously adjusting his eyeglasses, he fidgeted and thought for a moment. "Where to begin?" He was stalling.
He sat nearby Oliver and set his clipboard and journal aside, looking toward the running water of the river. "You know that I had told you about my marriage?" He'd told his friend about how his relationship with Audrey had become a little strained, but didn't reveal how he'd been cheating on her with men. "Well, after the birth of Molly, we became much closer. Molly really is the light of our lives." He chuckled. "Our little starshine. Being a father is wonderful, and I'm told by Molly here that I wasn't bad at it, either. I rather feel sorry that I didn't experience it, but I'm rather comforted that in the future, I did." He paused and thought about what he just said. "In any other situation, that sentence would not make sense."
