Who: Hestia Jones and OPEN What: eating lunch. Where: The table area that the food team laid out. When: Lunch time.
Hestia still hadn't dealt with the thing she'd seen in the cave (more like tomb). It felt like forever ago, and at the same time, like yesterday. And without Megan around, the whole thing just made her heart heavy, and homesick. She had spent sometime dwelling over everything, the scary devil that had been waiting for them, the ghost who had tried to help them. Hestia knew that she could talk about it with Amelia and Gideon, but every time she tried to figure out how to put it, she just sounded crazy. Besides, they were happy in the honeymoon phase of their relationship (which she had seen coming from a mile away), and wasn't about to bring them down. So, she just smiled and soldiered on. Besides, after two wars, she had just gotten used to doing such, and pushing the scary or uncomfortable things away to the back of her mind. It was a defense mechanism.
Though today, she was optimistic. It had been about a week since renovations had started, and the town, though not quite finished, was starting to come together in a more than spectacular way. Buildings were being framed up, streets nearly clear of all their previous debris. It was starting to look like home again, like a place where she didn't have to worry about the ground shaking, and monsters with curled bloody teeth trying to nash at her. And, she happened to adore her team. Purchasing was small, and not as busy as some of the others (giving them the opportunity to help out where they were needed) which gave them all a bit of freedom.
Right now, however, Hestia was starving. Which is why she'd excused herself from her current project and with a check of her watch, made her way down to the area that Hannah and her team had set aside for meals. It was just packed enough that there was no empty table for Hestia to exile herself off to, but place she really wanted to sit either, so, after grabbing her lunch, she simply picked the closest table.
"Hello!" She greeted in her typically cheerful way, "You don't mind if I sit here do you?" though she didn't bother waiting for a response before plucking out a chair and taking a seat.
