"Don't like being beat then?" Ava asked playfully when he mentioned that he didn't like Slytherin's quidditch team. It was nearly a thousand years into the future, but that didn't mean she wasn't proud of her house, and thought that they were particularly good at almost everything the did. After all, it was her family name on the line.
"Perhaps I will. In my time, brooms are... completely unreliable, so I've not yet ridden one." Honestly, Ava loved the idea of being able to get on a broom and fly away. She liked the idea of being high above the rest of the village, watching, soaring. She listened as he spoke about the team he played with at him, nodding a bit. "Yes. Lady Ginny," Ava smiled, "I believe the other man who runs it is a proffesional player too. Sir Connolly"
"I like a challenge." Ava said simply, through frowned a bit. "However, I suspect that due to my age, Sir Lucius gives me the simplier and more straight forward tasks." She didn't like being treated like she was less than equal, she was just as capable of handling anything else. "Running. Dueling. Uncle Godric made me a sword shortly before the town fell apart, I haven't had a chance to work with it properly. I like being in the yards at school."
