Closing her eyes, Fleur brushed her long blonde locks off her forehead, gathering it at the nape of her neck, thankful for the chill in the air. It was a relief against the heat of her skin. It had been a long time since she had a sleepless night because of a dream or two, typically it was because she couldn't turn her thoughts off. There had been so much going on with the events of the previous weeks, her new relationship and the fallout from that, not to mention the arrival of both her children within a week... It was a lot to process but these dreams had nothing to do that. It was an echo from several years ago. No doubt brought upon by all the recent talk about Death Eaters and the stress of working long hours trying to repair the Village.
She had promised to wake Draco if she felt the need for any late night wanderings but she didn't plan on being outside long. Just long enough to get some fresh air and clear her thoughts, then she was going to head back in and settle back in and try to get back to sleep. That was before she heard the familiar crunch of footsteps. Clearly she was not the only one that was having another sleepless night. Once the man got close enough Fleur could see it was none other than Evan, the other self-proclaimed insomniac.
"Bon soir Evan," Fleur said evenly as she swept her hair up off her neck before changing her mind and letting it fall back down. "Belle nuit n'est-ce pas?" She asked figuring the weather was a good place as any to start a conversation. It was almost odd to have a face to face conversation with the man she primarily talked to through the journals. "Another sleepless night," Fleur asked slipping easily between her native tongue and English.
