Oliver smiled at him. "I'm sure you did," he said seriously. Because the Percy he knew would usually reach the goals he set himself and if he chose to be a great singer, Oliver had no doubt that he managed it. And from Oli's viewpoint he'd had a good starting spot, too. "I'd have liked to see that," Oli said, without a hint of malice or teasing in his voice. He knew Percy at his most relaxed and carefree, probably more so than most of Percy's family members, but he still couldn't quite imagine Percy as a performing singer. He gave Percy's shoulder a squeeze before he straightened up again. "Do I get a private show? Say... best friend bonus or something?" Oli asked.
"I'll do almost anything, really," Oli said, a little less smiley now. "It'd just be better if it was something I could actually do, you know?" Off the Quidditch pitch, and sometimes even on it, Oli didn't have all that much faith in his own skills, something he wasn't really hiding, but he hardly ever openly addressed it either. He'd confided in Percy back at school, though.
