"Nothing to say sorry for. They was just smarter than most of us." He shrugged. His bitterness about Draco and his folks, and his own memories of how different things were for him despite him and Vince practically being Draco's shadows, was still a tough thing for him to sort out in his own head. All he knew was that people were always willing to give someone like Draco a chance to make nice, and someone like Greg was written off at the start. A place like this village, where somehow that didn't seem to be happening, only made him more aware of how bad it was back in the real world. Being treated normally for once made him more aware of it.
He chuckled a little. "All due respect, mate, I don't think you know much about Muggle drugs. I don't figure most wizards do, unless they lived with Muggles for a time. Anyway, they're all different from each other."
He studied Percy for a moment, considering the offer. Everything felt safe in the village, at least when it came to the other villagers. It felt natural to trust Weasley mostly because there wasn't no reason to lie in a place like that. Wasn't anything to be gained from tricking anyone else. After a moment he shrugged and gave a quickfire smile. "Nah, I kinda want to try it now you've been talking it up like this. As long as it doesn't make a person go mental or anything. Just I'm a big bloke, and I don't like getting out of control at all. Too easy to do bad things, you know?"
