Analisa had been watching the party and enjoying herself; she liked seeing the smiles and laughter on everyone's faces. She was startled when she heard the new voice, and turned to him quickly. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "I'm sorry. I didn't expect anyone to --" She cut herself off, and then smiled politely.
"I'm doing as fine as can be expected," she added, after a pause. She turned her focus from the party to her newfound companion, studying his face. She had seen him around, but she wasn't exactly sure who he was. Maybe she'd recognise his handwriting. She did notice his rather old-fashioned way of speaking; maybe he was from that generation of people here who were from medieval times? "I'm sorry, but I don't believe we've met," she told him.
