Because Greg continued with the subject, Percy was inclined to add, "Who knows what might've happened? The Wizengamot might've been lenient on you. The Malfoys managed to escape imprisonment, and they were in deeper than you."
Percy turned the glass in his hand as he spoke. "Not a whole batch. More like a few small pieces. Although I'm pretty sure I know where to get some more." His mind wandered to Hannah and he wondered if he shifted through the rubble of her home would he find the fudge he'd given her for safe keeping?
Greg mentioning about the after effects of beer, namely a hangover, was insightful. "I agree. Although, those who over indulged were plunged into a deep depression as their bodies withdrew from the intoxicant. I suppose that some people felt that it wasn't worth it. However, I learned from others' experience and kept some chocolate to slowly wean myself off it, taking a little each day to stave off the worst of the depression, until I found equilibrium."
He paused to look at Greg from the corner of his vision. "Would you like to try some?"
