Greg's fumbling with his name made Percy feel bad. "You may call me Percy." He smirked. "Mr. Weasley is my father," he added, reflecting what Greg had told him before.
But it was the revelation that Greg had gone into the Muggle World that surprised Percy, considering his Death Eater background and how much he was known for mocking those not of Wizarding descent. "Wow," Percy caught himself saying. That explained why the Aurors couldn't catch up with him - they probably assumed somebody like him would go Muggle. "That's quite a change. I don't think I could do it, live without magic. It isn't easy to assimilate." He was curious. "Did you, uh... get married?" If Greg answered that he'd married a Muggle, Percy would really be astonished. It wasn't politically correct to discuss these things in open, but after all, Greg had close ties with the Death Eaters.
"Oh, I meant no offense when I asked how long you'd been in the journals," Percy was quick to apologize, as prim as he was. "I was just curious. I've only been here a few months, myself. I appeared just a few weeks before the chocolate lake incident."
