He laughed. "I think you'd be right brilliant actually." He paused dramatically. "Not that you'd win against me, but, you know, you'd be alright." He slid down the tree to sit cross-legged. He looked up. The night was clear. Was it really not that long ago the fog clouded the village and inhuman shrieks pierced the sky?
Realizing he checked out for a minute, he took another swig, finishing with a big "Aha."
"Well, you can always discover whether someone prefers white or yellow gold that way," he teased. "I see how the two go together." He squinted in effort to see if she was wearing any of her jewelery, but his vision was really getting blurry. Ha.
