Sally Bones wasn't much of a drinker, but she did like to mingle with people. She was only twenty-nine even if she was a wife and mother. Wife, she corrected herself. Her children weren't in town. She didn't need to worry about tucking them in or being awake in the morning to cook them breakfast. As sad as the thoughts made her, she decided she needed to put effort into creating a life in the village. She had Eddie, Melly, and even Susan was returned. Her children may never come, but she had to live for the rest of her loved ones. Her goddaughter too. She loved that little Potter baby. It was a powerful lesson after the week's events and the reason she ventured out of the vaults to join Mike's rowdy gathering. It wasn't her style, but maybe that was the point. She needed to branch out.
"Hello, angel. Are you alright?" Sally heard the young woman sigh, but she also noticed Sally-Ann looked rather down too.
