Ginny was bloody well thrilled to have been let out of the sick house. It was nice to be able to walk around and get some fresh air. Truthfully, she was feeling miles better than she had in days and she knew she was still a few days out from being 100%, but she knew it was loads faster than it should've been. She wasn't entirely sure why, but she was trying not to think on it too much because she was mostly just grateful.
And why shouldn't she be? Yes the last week or so had been bloody bollocks and wretched, but they were taking a turn for the better. James Sirius had come back to them. He was older than he'd been and it was going to be a bit to get him adjusted to the village, but he was here and he was safe and it made Ginny feel loads better just knowing that much. Harry was back too. Older too, but here and in one piece and sure he knew things about their future, but she wasn't going to ask. She knew the big things, like the getting married and having kids things, but everything else they'd figure out here. Or so she assumed.
She was out for a walk, having promised that she'd be careful and not get hurt and all that rot. The village was a wreck, so it was a valid concern, she figured. She just needed some time away from everyone asking after her and worrying. That's when she noticed the crowd forming and her curiosity got the better of her. A smile tugging at her lips she moseyed over to see what was going on.
"What's all this then?" She asked with a half laugh.
