Ginny's physical health was improving, but as her memories were sorting themselves into timelines and what was real and not real, her emotional health was taking a turn for the worse. They'd lost so many and there were so many people who weren't there anymore who she hadn't even gotten a chance to say goodbye to.
The two that stung the most were James and Harry though. According to what she'd heard from other people, Harry had disappeared and hadn't been killed. That didn't make his absence any easier to bear however and she found herself wanting to see him and hold him and know that everything was going to be okay. It was hard to think about losing her son. A son that she hadn't had yet, but still had bonded to and missed with an aching in her heart that she couldn't really define or understand.
She didn't want to deal with that end of the healing process though. She couldn't handle her grief. She couldn't handle the loss of two people so very close to her and who she needed so much. As if to protect herself from that end of the pain she was feeling, she had curled herself up and was effectively a small ball on the top of the bed, pretending to sleep so that no one would ask her if she was okay. Silent tears were still streaming down her face.
