WHO Nathan Bradley and Daphne Greengrass WHERE & WHEN Community Center, after Daphne's entry. WHAT Bonding and trying to sleep. RATING Low/Incomplete.
Nathan closed his journal and tucked it in the pocket of his jacket. He had been prowling around the perimeter of the village, occasionally shooting a monster -- it felt so automatic now, so casual. Like some sort of real-life Resident Evil he'd played through and beaten about ten times over. Maybe he was just so fucking tired that he really was running on autopilot, and all of this would eventually catch up with him at some point.
Not yet, though.
Some other officers and detectives smoked a lot to help relieve their stress, and he found himself craving a cigarette as he stalked his way across what was left of the residential district towards the Community Center. Apparating to the other side, he wondered if he could bum one off somebody, but he doubted it.
"Hey," he said, sitting down beside Daphne once he'd found her inside. She looked just as tired as he felt.
