What Gideon wasn't admitting was that his own eyes were beginning to fail him. He was fighting a yawn with as much effort as he'd used in fighting those creatures. Somehow, that proved a more difficult feat and he had to give in. Yes, he needed sleep, too. Once Amelia was able to sleep, Gideon would pass right out. He didn't care if that was weird. That was how it was going to work, or how he was going to try to make it work. He wanted to look out for her and make sure she was okay. Maybe it would be a good idea if he moved in with her and Hestia, when they had houses again anyway.
Gideon shifted to get a look at her side, and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. "Shite, Mel. That's after Eddie checked you out?" How could something be broken slightly? It was broken or it wasn't, and clearly Amelia was broken. And then she mentioned that she was attacked by two of the more prominent Death Eaters back at home and by the only two Death Eaters in the village. "They did WHAT?" Gideon nearly shouted, he was so angry. There went their second chances, mistake or not. They had more pressing issues at the moment and were all banded together against the monsters invading the village, but once this was all over, Gideon wouldn't hesitate to stand with Moody against Lestrange and Rosier. Accident be damned.
"Fuck accidents, Mel. How did they accidentally almost do something like that? They're Death Eaters. There are no accidents." He was slightly more awake due to his anger, but that was fleeting. His eyes were back to throbbing in no time. "I'm glad you're this strong and shite but bloody hell, Amelia."
