Romilda had watched some of the others begin to lose it. That had been one of the reasons she'd released the horses. She wanted them to have a fighting chance. She'd cried as they'd all run off. Her four remaining favorites she hoped returned but for now she was convinced they were a lost cause. If this continued there was no way they would make it.
"But the food, we need the food," she reached for it desperately but was no match for his grip. Suddenly it all turned rotten, grew legs and leaped at her. With a scream she pushed herself back against him when only a second ago she was trying to get away. "Keep it away," she begged as each piece opened it's mouth to show deadly fangs. "It's going to eat us."
