Colin didn’t even know what was happening, she didn’t even seem to acknowledge his presences, and he was going to assume that she was so intranced by her hallucinations that she hadn’t even seen him. But then, in a flash she was in front of him, her body positions as if she were trying to cover him, to protect him from something he couldn’t see. HIs eyes darted around for a final time, to make sure there really was nothing there, but by the time he’d gone to grab her, she’d flung herself down.
It was hard to follow the story when he could only see the half of it, and so he immediately knelt beside her, his hand moving slowly over her torso to make sure that there was no real injury. Sighing, he laid his wand down next to him, and grabbed her face with both of her hands, forcing her to look directly at him, and not at some imaginary figure.
“Lea, you’re sick--very sick. You’re brother isn’t here, it’s just an illusion, alright?” Colin chewed his lip, but pressed on, “You’re not hurt yet, and you have to promise me you wont be slinging any more hexes at your brother... especially not that one, because he’s not here. It would just... bounce off a wall and hit someone else, okay? You don’t want to kill another innocent person, do you?”
He carefully let got of her, picking up her wand again, and taking her hand tightly. “We’re going to stand up now, Lea, alright? I’m going to take you back to where all the healers are, and they’re going to take a look at you. No need to worry about Victor okay, because he's not really here, it's just your imagination. And even if he were, you'll be at the center with everyone else, you’ll be protected there.”
