Who: Rowena and Helena Ravenclaw
What: Discussing things
Where: Their home
When: Sunday afternoon
This village was strange, but Rowena found it fascinating. Sure, there were times when she missed her old life, she miss the bustle of the castle and the students who were eager to learn whatever it was that they could. She missed her students and their questions, she missed the castle and all of its surprises, she missed the way that everything had been for the past couple of years. She missed how much Helena had needed her. Back in Rowena’s world, Helena was a bright eyed twelve year old who still asked her mother to braid her hair, or to help her with things. Here, Helena was sixteen, and while Rowena was proud of the woman she’d become in the four year difference, proud at how smart and independent she was, she couldn’t help but be a little sad that she wasn’t as needed as she used to be.
Rowena stepped into their home, her arms full of books which she deposited on the table. It was nearly everyday that Rowena came home with a new book, something that had caught her interest while she was stocking the large over filled book shelves, and she just couldn’t pass up.
“Helena, dear.” She called out for her daughter, smiling a little wider when she came into view. “I picked up some books I thought you might be interested in.” She gestured to the pile of books in front of her.
