Who: Romilda and OPEN What: Working When: Sunday afternoon Where: the Stables
Romilda could have just cast a spell at each horse, but she rather enjoyed grooming them. There was something relaxing about brushing the dust off with a Dandy brush after each had been curried. At the moment she was working on Valentine who even though he looked like a big meanie was rather gentle. He loved being brushed and Romilda enjoyed the relationship between horse and animal that the act of grooming helped to forge. As she brushed away the dried mud from his recent roll she recalled the lessons her mother had given her when she was a young girl. The patience Abigail had with both the horses and her daughter had been fantastic and Romilda couldn't help but wonder if she had done the same with her children. Did they even own horses or was this something they only experienced when visiting her parents?
She was deep in thought as she wrapped up her use of the hard brush. Turning she tossed the brush into the grooming bucket a few feet away and used her wand to call the soft brush. It was as she turned pluck the brush out of the air that Romilda noticed someone standing in the doorway. "How long have you been here?" she inquired feeling a bit guilty that she'd been so entranced in her task that she hadn't noticed the other person's arrival.
