Gideon watched as Moody checked the bottle thoroughly. That was something new, unless Gideon's memory was defective. He didn't think he could remember Moody going batty over a bottle of liquor. Maybe that came with the loss of the eye and leg, or maybe Gideon was just remembering incorrectly. He wouldn't analyze it, though. Whatever made him feel better. "Ah, go figure," Gideon said. It didn't surprise him that the eye came from Dumbledore. It made perfect sense, actually.
"Let me guess. Lestrange?" Gideon had to guess Lestrange. The tale of his actions was why they'd met early. Gideon wanted to know what happened after he was killed and how the first war ended, at least for Moody. He didn't particularly want to be in the village with the Death Eater who blasted of Alastor's leg, but he had to know the asshole's name.
