About six thousand ideas for how to go about giving their founder an excellent unbirthday party had come to the twins over the past few weeks, and eventually they decided upon one idea, which, admittedly, was something of a conglomeration of about ten other ideas that all sort of wrapped up together into a giant ball of things they thought were brilliant.
The end result was something neither of them thought they would ever quite be able to replicate again...
Where before there was a water park for Roxy's birthday, the twins had now enchanted gigantic, wall-sized tapestries to hang around the edges of the field. A medieval-style archway gated the entrance to the area, and stepping into the space it enclosed was, quite literally, like stepping back in time. Charmed like the Weasley's tent at the World Quidditch Cup, the whole area was much bigger on the inside than it was on the outside.
In the far right side of the place was a jousting arena, with enchanted suits of armor going at each other atop (also) enchanted carnival-style mechanical horses that the twins had found in Smuggled. ("At this point, I'm convinced that if something Muggle has ever existed, it's inside that damn shop," Fred told George. "That's because it would be," was the reply.) Beside that was a table for gifts and a guestbook for people to sign if they so wished.
On the other side was a table large enough to match the ones inside the Great Hall at Hogwarts, at which all the attendees could sit and eat. A huge table sat next to this one, and on it were plates full of medieval-style food and drink, almost anything you could imagine would belong there, likely sat there. From somewhere in the back of the arena, period music was playing much like Roxy's music had played at her glittering water park.
Around the rest of the space, all sorts of entertainment booths were set up, including ones for medieval games and riddles, as well as a few more modern carnival games (like a dunk booth and whack-a-mole, except instead of a mole, the thing that the twins chose to be repeatedly smacked atop the head was a small-scale model of Professor Umbridge) and, lastly, a photo booth*.
