Who: Astoria and Cressida What: Tea + idk When: Sunday afternoon, 16 June Where: That cafe place? Rating: PG at the absolute highest Status: Locked // In Progress
The Enchanted Florist did not get a lot of business, in a completely unsurprising turn of events. Astoria made sure she was there in the morning, in case anyone thought flowers would be a good idea for Father's Day (no luck), and proceeded to dawdle there for a few hours, rearranging displays and spritzing random blossoms with her charming spray bottle shaped like a daffodil.
She'd been pleased to receive Cressida's invitation to tea, the night before. Astoria feared that she hadn't connected with her daughter as easily as she had with Scorpius, and wasn't sure how to go about correcting that, when Cressida seemed so guarded. She couldn't really blame her. If Astoria had had herself for a mother, she probably wouldn't be running to embrace her, either.
Astoria looked around the shop. There was nothing left to be done here -- not even busywork. With a little sigh, she grabbed a sheet of parchment, scrawled a quick note about contacting her via journal if they needed something that couldn't wait until two o'clock, and headed to the cafe early.
