"Good. Good for you, Victoire. I know it's hard and I know it's bloody awful, but you have to stay strong on this." Ginny said. "Don't you let him dictate your life any more than he already has. If he wants to be a part of Kitty's life, then that's all well and good, but that doesn't mean he gets to control it. You are the mum, you are the one raising that little girl and you get to decide what kind of environment she grows up in." Ginny was adamant about that. There were a couple girls on the team who had custody issues with their kids and so maybe she was a little biased, but it only made sense to her.
"Victoire, you don't have to do this alone. If you ever need me, whether it's to listen or to watch Kitty so you can get some alone time or whatever. You just let me know, okay? I know I'm not quite the Aunt you know from home, but I can still be here for you and we can be friends and that's what friends do."
