Ginny listened, scowling the entire time. She was about to have an angry outburst about how it decidedly not Victoire's fault that she disappeared considering how the magic worked around here, but the blonde had completely broken down and with that, most of Ginny's hot-headed anger dissipated as she pulled her niece into a hug.
"Hey. Hey." She said soothingly. "This is not your fault. He couldn't bloody well keep it in his pants while you were gone and it's not your fault. He ought to be bloody well apologizing, not saying horrible things to you. He should feel awful. If he made vows here...Then--" She broke off and bit her lip, having very firm beliefs on what exactly wedding vows meant. "For better or for worse doesn't mean until someone else comes along." She said finally, keeping her tone down. She rubbed Victoire's back in small circles like her mum would've. "This is not your fault." She repeated.
