"Your generosity never ceases to amaze," Bellatrix said in reaction to Lucius's quip, punctuated with a shrug and slightest of smiles. It was expected and generally how things were. While in her time they never truly meshed well she could imagine in the period in which Lucius came from, things were far more contentious. Old or not, it was good to see an almost familiar face in Lucius.
She took a deep inhale and exhaled slowly, settling into her surroundings and watching the smoke coil up into the sky. "Hmm, yes. It was a rather lovely day, that day. Oh, Lucius. If there is a choice, it's hardly as much fun for me," she said with a bemused grin. "And no. No dragon," she said turning her attention to Evan. This was bound to be an interesting story.
Bellatrix couldn't help but laugh at Evan's displeasure. She could only imagine how very displeased and generally pissy he had been about not being able to kill the beast. "Oh so you were stuck with the bleeding hearts club, were you love?" She said, mulling over the information. "Now, aside from befriending an Order member of all things, who is the this her, who threatened to let a dragon loose? What did she think she would do, dress it up in a frock and have a tea party?" She said with a laugh and shake of her head, tossing her hair slightly. "Some people, ridiculous."
She waited for Evan to finish joking with Lucius, herself shifting slightly to avoid the flick of his shirt toward Lucy, and mulled something over before choosing to speak.
"Yes, well. I managed to piss off everyone in my group. Well save for one, but she is from the 14th century I believe if I've got my facts stright. I had to make a signal, see," she said before taking a puff from her cigarette, and tipping off the ash to fall to the ground at her side. "You know, to let them know a fucking bloody kraken was at the lake, and really I couldn't let it eat the Weasley Veela, because you know I can only really look out to so much. So, I sent up the dark mark. And let me tell you two lovely gents, that is very effective. Also it really gets everyone's knickers in a twist. But oh, they came running, it worked very well," she said with smug satisfaction. "The ends justify the means."
