Walburga sat helplessly as she watched him get up and leave. She wanted to follow after him, but she didn't. She stood, a motion meant to motivate her to follow Alphard. Only she sat a moment later. It was only with him out of the room that her expressions were more honest. She slipped off her shoes, pulling her knees to her chest and frowning. Her brother needed her and she was sitting here like some coward. She did not feel brave and that was likely because she was not. She focused on her breathing, slowly uncurling as she heard Alphard open the door again. She slid her feet back into her shoes and corrected her posture.
She disliked the way that Alphard looked and the fact that she didn't know how to make this better. Instead, she sat quietly while he spoke. "I did not know." There were so many things it seemed she didn't know. She was quiet for a moment, letting her thoughts linger for a moment on what he said about trying to stop being something to stay with their family. "And look what it got us..." This place had changed her. She was different. She could not go back to what she had been before and she could not forgive their parents for what happened to them both.
Walburga turned toward her brother and moved just a little closer. "Harry Potter. He spoke of his shop and him. Mostly in the past tense." She bit down at her lower lip, hesitating a moment before lightly leaning against Alphard. "I really am sorry, Alphard."
