Bee looked down at Frank's feet for the first time and mentally kicked herself. She was glad it wasn't winter, or she may have caused this man a bit of frostbite. "Ten quid says your wife took them to keep you from wandering off without her," she joked lightly. "But, yeah, we can get you a pair. And maybe new socks." She tilted her head and looked at them with a slight frown. "I think those are meant to be white."
She looked up into Frank's eyes and smiled. "I know just the place," she told him before she linked her arm with his and led him back the way she'd come. "I'm not much of a cook," she chattered easily, "but breakfast is my favourite meal, and I never mess it up. I'm sure the restaurant could whip us up something, but I've got my mam's recipe for half roasted, half fried potatoes that I think you'll enjoy." She kept their pace a little brisk, and she talked about home and her parents the entire way, keeping him slightly distracted so he didn't panic over being in a new location. Once inside her cottage, she set him to peeling potatoes for her while she ran upstairs to change and check her journal. She told Alice where Frank was, quickly swapped her sleeping clothes for a simple dress and jumper, and went back downstairs. "How do you like your eggs, Frank?"
