Roxy made a face at George, her nose and upper lip wrinkled in a sort of cringe, but her eyes belied her curiosity (an expression that was often the end result of a conversation with her father and his somewhat off the wall ideas). In her head she had already figured several pros and cons for edible shoe laces, but there was a distinct lack of practicality there that left her wondering about it.
"I think that I can honestly say that I haven't." She admitted with an amused smirk as she fell into step next to her father. Roxy tried to muster up as much nonchalant as she could, kicking lose rocks that lined the path as sort of a game with herself. "See, you really couldn't eat the laces unless they had some sort of dirt repellant, and you know... If thats the case, why not just wear non edible laces. Less of course you were stranded some where wuthout food."
