Who: Angelina and OPEN What: Doing the bartending thing Where: The Pub When: Wednesday Rating: TBD
It had been a slow day at the pub, which, being that it was a Wednesday, wasn't especially surprising, but this was something else. Only one person had wandered in thus far, and they had already left. Angelina had been bored enough to walk around aimlessly cleaning and organizing things (and that was saying something). She had taken to organizing the liquors, shifting around the bottles so that they were in alphabetical order and by years if necessary. Would the system last? Probably not. On a busy night, the bottles would get shifted and misplaced, and all this work would be for nothing, save maybe Angelina's sanity for the afternoon.
Having wiped down the last bottle of whiskey, though, Angelina was suddenly at a loss. The distraction had lasted a solid amount of time, but there was still plenty of it left on her shift. Sighing, she tossed the towel to some random location and leaned against the bar, staring at her handiwork, an alcoholic rainbow.
Luckily, she didn't have to stare uselessly at it for long. The jingle of the bell at the door announced someone's presence, and Angelina all but leaped to attention. "Hey!" she greeted cheerfully. "Come on in. Don't let the crowd scare you away."
