Who: Hannah and Neville What: It was a rough night When: Saturday morning Where: Spare bedroom of #20 Rating: Totally safe
The day had been taxing. Hannah was used to Frank not knowing her at home but she had gotten used to his knowing her here. The man she knew back home was completely lacking in mental facilities. It was a blessing to know him and she hated the thought that they might not get him back. What she hated the most though was watching Neville as he had to come to terms with the possibility of loosing his father all over again. Not willing to let him go through this alone, Hannah stayed by his side all night. In fact they'd eventually made their way to the spare room where they'd simply held each other until they fell asleep.
As much as she hated the reason they'd been pulled together, Hannah finally felt at home when she woke up that morning beside Neville. It was something they'd not done while here and Hannah had not realized how much she'd missed the physical closeness of her husband.
When she finally stirred that morning, Neville was still asleep. Not quite ready to leave his side and head to the kitchen for a cup of tea and to start breakfast, Hannah cuddled up against Neville and kissed him softly on the nape of the neck as she wrapped her arm around his waist and resigned herself to just a little more time before facing the world again.
