It was hard to keep herself from hitting Caradoc when he decided to move. Petunia's eyes widened for a moment before she winced. She didn't like the way he looked when it happened or the sound he made or any of it. "You stupid, stupid boy," she muttered before carefully climbing into the bed next to him. She was incredibly careful about how she laid down, entirely aware of herself in regards to him.
"Sometimes I really hate you," she murmured. She paused a moment to press a quick kiss to Caradoc's lips. And sometimes I really wish I could hate you at all. But it was left unsaid. She didn't want to upset him. "And you're going to listen to everything the Healers tell you do to. I don't care if you like it or not. You'll do it." Because she wanted him to get better. She needed him to get better. She needed him to be okay.
