She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in the crook of his neck. It never ceased to amaze her just how much his embrace felt like home. Even if she didn't remember their marriage and relationship back home, she was sure some subconscious part of her recognized it for what it was: the most important part of her life. As much as her job and her role in the Order mattered to her, Remus was the one who would give her life colour and meaning. He would make everything worth it.
"I'm glad you're here, too," she said, giving him a lingering kiss and running her fingertips through his hair. "Are you okay?"
