Who: Helena and Theodore
What: Reading, talking, snuggling
When: A couple hours after her last journal entry
Where: The hospital where Theodore is staying
Helena had been told that letting Theodore believe she was his mother was basically a stupid thing to do by both her mother and father (though not in so many words). She had also been strictly told not to go to the hospital and see Theodore. But she was almost seventeen now and wasn't it time she start thinking and doing things on her own? And she had been told that several weeks ago now (plus she had already disobeyed that rule and had seen him once before). She didn't often act out and disobey her mother, but when she did, Helena thought it was for a good reason. Theodore, who tried to kill himself and needed something stable and familiar in his life, he was a good reason to go against her mother's wishes right?
As strange as it was, since Theodore barely knew himself, Helena liked spending her time with him, liked talking to him. He was fascinating and he seemed to actually need her. No one else needed her, and it was such a nice thought that she was willing to do whatever it took to keep him happy. Keeping others happy kept her happy and since she was still upset about the night she drank with Evan, she needed a little happy in her life. Though, of course, there were times when Theodore would say something and upset her all over again, especially when he said discouraging things about himself.
The walk to the hospital, especially this late at night, from the castle, was tiring. With her book in hand, wearing a silly pair of pajama pants she had thought looked cute, and a sweatshirt with some random Quidditch team name on it, Helena made her way into the room where Theodore was. She gave him a big smile when she entered the room, feeling better since having talked to her daddy and hearing a story from him (as well as some cake). "Hi, love."
