Although Godric hadn't the slightest idea what was going on in Victoire's life, he had spoken the truth when he said that he quite liked her family. He knew many members of the Weasley-Potter family well, and regardless of the centuries between their lives, he was happy and proud that they would one day help to represent him within the wizarding world.
Dressed in a casual, modern look, Godric made his way down to house number three from the castle. He knew the woods around the village well and seemed to reach the main residential area in almost no time at all. And he had to admit, future clothing was ridiculously comfortable, and he particularly liked jeans.
But even if it would be hard to distinguish him visually from any other relatively recent person in history, Godric still had a distinct, unmistakable accent from his native language. He knocked on the door and called through it to the inside: "Victoire? It is Godric." Oh, there was no doubt he had pronounced her name incorrectly, but he had tried!
