Parvati knew she wasn't the most focused of people sometimes, but being a hit witch had honed things for her and she was known for having "hunches" about things that turned out accurate enough. Not to mention, you had to know if someone was going to attack you or run if you wanted to have a good defense set up. She couldn't say she knew exactly what Dennis was thinking, but she could guess. Things had been even more difficult for him. Things had been difficult for Colin, too. It probably only added to everything. She smiled a little, tilting her head to the side for a moment.
"Me? Thinking." She wrinkled her nose slightly. "About all the stuff I've been trying not to think about over the years." Which was true. She leaned against the railing, facing Dennis. "Don't tell me," she said, pausing, the slightest hint of amusement to her voice. "You've come out to enjoy the sights in our wonderful town." There was a pause before she reached out to wipe away a bit of sweat away. "Must've been a quick tour or else you were trying to see everything in a certain amount of time." True, she was just joking, but maybe that's what they needed.
