Parvati was out late. She knew that much. It was just a leisurely stroll and really, if anything were to happen, she had her wand with her always. she had a leg holster fashioned a while back for work. Sometimes she used it here and sometimes she didn't. Then again, considering it had come with her when she'd been there before (apparently. She could see all the journals she'd written then), it was older then she remembered it being. For now, it was strapped to her thigh, over her jeans.
She was still adjusting to the Carrows being back, to everything that was piling up. No matter how often she put on the face of being okay, she wasn't entirely okay either. She just didn't want anyone worrying. She wasn't falling apart, but she wasn't entirely strung together either. She could remember all the things that had happened seventh year. She could remember the times that she'd gotten herself in trouble, running off at the mouth and not remember to keep her head. And then she remembered that she'd had it easy because she was a pureblood.
The sound of her own footsteps was really all that she could hear, but she looked up and suddenly she wasn't quite as alone as she thought. "Hello, Dennis."
