Hannah felt like a complete idiot. Here she was about to have tea with one of the founders of Hogwarts and rather than preparing a list of curiosities that had been tossed around the common room over the years that begged to be questioned Hannah was watching the woman the way a badger would watch an outsider that was trying to come into the family. While her claws were currently retracted one false move and they could easily find their way to destroying the woman. It wasn't necessarily jealousy that Hannah was feeling, she just wanted to make sure that Ernie ended up with the best. It had taken her awhile to come to this realization, but Hannah knew deep down that she wouldn't have been the best for Ernie. She knew too much about him to allow him to have a place to escape to. By his ending up with someone else she had remained the person he turned to back home, something she wouldn't have traded for the world.
"Giving easy homework just to get away," she cocked her head slightly to the side. "I don't think any of our professors ever knew that concept."
