It may have been a strange thing to say, but Helga did not notice. These people from the future often had different senses of humour than she was used to. It was one of the many bewildering things about being surrounded by people a thousand years from your future. She smiled vaguely in Hannah's direction and replied simply, "Okay, I will see you in a few minutes." The modern tongue was still a little strange to Helga, and more so colloquialisms such as 'in a minute,' which people used even when they knew they would be much longer than a minute. Although she knew what they meant, Helga could not bring herself to use them most of the time.
She walked up to the counter and ordered a camomile tea. That at least was a plant she was used to, and she could see the benefit to making a drink out of it. Having been given her drink of choice, Helga returned to the table and sat down opposite to Hannah, placing her mug on the table.
"I am glad you have not been here long," she said. "I was worried too many children were going to ask me for help and I would not be able to get away in time. I made sure to give only simple homework today, to prevent that."
