Hearing Theo say her name and realizing that it probably meant nothing to him at the moment was heart-wrenching. He'd uttered it numerous times throughout the years they'd known each other, and it was funny how something so simple could be missed so much. When he told her she could sit and stay, Pansy cautiously made her way to the chair and gingerly perched herself on the edge. She was so afraid she'd move too fast or make too much noise and scare him.
Forcing herself to smile again, she folded her hands in her lap and looked up at him. "You're looking much better today." She was trying so hard to remain upbeat and cheerful. "Oh, um, I was here last night. I don't know if you remember, or..." she trailed off. What was she supposed to say to him or talk about?
