The grumpiness stayed firmly in place at the nickname she gave him. But he knew that as much as he might fight it with Parvati, there was just no getting through to her. She would do whatever she wanted. (If he were really, really being honest, deep down he appreciated it. It was -- dare he say it -- nice to have some family around, especially knowing what waited in store for him back home.)
